Have I ever told you how my home town is quaintly racist?
And by quaint I mean offensive?
The following are excerpts from an actual thread on the facebook group page I moderate. I have since taken the liberty of deleting all the offending posts to this thread, but not the thread itself because for the most part the other replies were harmless, actually nostalgic and reminiscent of the town’s less checkered past (and boy do we have a checkered past).
Most of the things said in the following pictures were so problematic for me that I didn’t really know how to respond to them, and frankly I felt like addressing them would be a waste of my energy. I have better things to do than argue on the internet.
